kiboko84 was born in Nairobbery. He spent most of his early years climbing trees and a variety of structures, using charcoal to draw on walls and floors, nails and razorblades to tag his name on trees and school furniture, eating all manner of fruits, playing shake, bano, chako, 1-2-3, kalongo, indulging in mchongoano as well as experiencing the joys and pains of everyday life in one of Africas' most interesting capital cities.Inbetween all of the above, he managed to get hold of a few comics and watch a few cartoons and was inspired by older cousins and friends who at that time,he considered were the greatest of artists, to pick up any mark making tool and express himself. In those days, and in the midst of the artistic gathering, he was the struggling one. With time, everyone grew up, got discouraged, lost interest, they stopped, he continued. He has lived in London for almost a decade now, and this side of the world has exposed him to much and taught him much, he is still learning.

At some point in 2006, he got tired. Tired of being uncertain, tired of 9-5 and tired of the dry graphic design and illustration course he somehow had managed to enrol himself on and decided it was time to change.Instead of attending the dry lessons, he sneaked into the textile studios, was taught to screen print, and printed a few hundred tshirts. Instead of grumbling about how the institute, the tutors, and the course he was on was crap, he searched for a better place to be, applied, got in, and left the old place making sure to dust of his shoes upon reaching the exit. Instead of killing himself on 9-5, he got up one morning, pulled a move of faith, and quit. All the above events led to him landing in camden market on a saturday morning with a bag full of tshirts requesting a stall. The rest as he says....is the beginning of his-story.

He is doing better now and getting better at what he is doing, at what he has found comes naturally and the satisfaction from it is priceless. He is on an illustration course in a decent place with mad talented people, he gets inspired there and has seen growth in his work and his self belief. People are rocking his tshirts and hoodies and asking for more and more are on the way. He is getting commissions here and there and getting challenged to do different stuff, change is good, he welcomes the opportunities. He is young, hungry and searching for recognition, but has come to find out, the best way for him to be known as always, is to let his work speak on his behalf.......feel artistic cane
