IFREECANS COLLECTIVE @CAMDEN STABLES MARKET
August 2008

I managed to round up some of my top respected, talented and creative individuals and formed the ifreecans collective with an intention of injecting a bit of Afrocentric variety into the current creative arts scene. All come from a diverse background with skills ranging from graphic design, illustration, fashion, music, poetry and photography. Together we have opened a shop in Camden Stables Market [look for The Cuban Bar, first left, fourth shop] to act as an output of all our collaborative and individual work. Members of the collective include GettoSoulClothing Co, Pensee+, Hifidelity, Mocha, Nyaroroi, Kcola, Kiboko84 and a few more are on the way. The shop has been up and running for a month now. Working on future exhibitions, open mic events and poetry slams, so if you in the Camden area, drop by and meet the ifreecans collective and feel artistic cane.

CANS FESTIVAL [A STREET PARTY OF STENCIL ART]
3rd - 5th May 2008

The Cans Festival was held in a tunnel at Leake Street, near Waterloo Station/London Eye. It was a stencil based art event featuring a variety of artists from the very well known [Banksy,Faile,Toasters} to relatively unknown new comers. They placed an add on their site for anyone willing to drop a stencil to tag along on any of the three days [3rd,4th,5th May]. I dropped in on the 4th , hit the wall with the AHA stencil [originally done for the 2008 tee collection see sneak peak on the home page] and the results can be seen below. If you can, go down and check out the whole thing, beautiful stuff. If you like the stencil Ive done, its coming soon as a tee to the shop section.feel artistic cane.

Checkout HiFidel&T at http://www.myspace.com/hifidelt

STAYING FLY ON MY OWN SUPPLY
A Short History On KBK84 Tees [2005 - Present Day]

Staying Fly On My Own Supply is a mini history about designs that have been printed by Kiboko84 and the inspiration behind them. The title came about from comments made by those who know me and my label about how I am always wearing my own stuff. My response was other than loving my designs it was a good marketing tool, I choose to 'stay fly on my own supply'.Check out the tees section for more information.

PLAY EXHIBITION
5-12th March 2008 [PRIVATE VIEW 6TH MARCH 6-8PM]

This is a group exhibition by second year illustration students from Camberwell Institute of Art and Design, which will be held at the foyer of the main building. The brief behind the exhibition was to create a toy and a game that goes with it. Come check it out. If you have the time, try and find out my civilian name as well.

LOCK,
STOCK AND A VENUE FULL OF FIRE
28th February 2008

LOCK,STOCK AND A VENUE FULL OF FIRE , was a kind of a fund raiser for those who lost out to the CAMDEN MARKET FIRE  plus an event to let people know that Camden is still alive and kicking. It was held in the LOCK17 pub, located in the EAST YARD of Camden Lock Market. The art was cool and the music was amazing, good night overall. I participated in the art side, dropped seven paintings, got good feedback, people got to know that KIBOKO84 is still alive, and most importantly, that my stuff did not burn in the fire.

BRAHMA BEER
January 2008

I entered this competition for BRAHMA BEER and send in some illustrations. They have posted the stuff up. Check  http://www.vistobrahma.com/gallery.aspx?showimg=1423 bonus is you get to find out my civilian name. If you experience problems with the link, enter the site, then go to the gallery, my pieces are at the bottom, two of the last four.

CLAIM TO FAME
2006-2008

My claim to fame me thinks is one of my tee graphics getting featured in the advert below. The posters have been pasted all round the UK from 2006 and the last time I spotted one was December 2007. The pros are I get free advertising, phone calls from people who know my work saying they saw my tee on an advert and my friend who's rocking the tee got paid for it. The cons  finding out that trying to get any form of compensation [lol] or recognition from the company would be a lengthy and costly process so hey, anytime you see the poster with the yellow tee....feel artistic cane

CAMDEN FASHION SHOW
14th September 2006

My first venture into the fashion world was the Camden Fashion Show in 2006. I dropped a customised blazer rocked by the model on the far right in this photo
http://www.camdenlockmarket.com/fashionshow/images/showImages/133.jpg, not the best picture as the prints are on the front pockets and the back, but my first feature in a Fashion Show nonetheless. Check this link for the programme, http://www.camdenlockmarket.com/fashionshow/prog.php all the models in the picture above are rocking SCENE 9 - DUBLIN CASTLE
